THE DARLING BUDS + SILK CUTS EXETER CAVERN Sat 5 Sept
The Darling Buds’ ebullient songs, packed with bright melodies, frank lyrics, and cutting guitars, helped form the bridge from C-86 to Brit-pop, and continue to be celebrated with the band’s occasional activity. The Cavern opened in 1991 with the idea of bringing international talent to Exeter, and simultaneously give a platform to Exeter bands.
